Welcome to SellahStone.

SellahStone is a creative studio offering original artwork, handmade and upcycled goods, custom commissions, creative design, marketing and business strategy, branding, events, experiences, workshops, and other creative services.

By using this website, purchasing a product, commissioning artwork, booking a service, or otherwise working with SellahStone, you agree to the following Terms + Conditions.

1. The Nature of SellahStone

SellahStone operates across three interconnected areas:

CREATE — Art + Objects
Original and mixed-media artwork, contemporary and abstract work, custom art and commissions, upcycled art and objects, handmade jewelry, intention kits, crystal jewelry, and related creative goods.

CONNECT — Marketing + Business
Marketing, public relations, business consulting, branding and rebranding, growth and revenue strategy, pricing and program development, launches, grand openings, and related strategy services.

TRANSFORM — Design + Experiences
Creative direction, graphic and custom design, events and experiences, web and logo design, print and environmental design, workshops, community engagement, and related creative services.

Specific terms, pricing, timelines, deliverables, and project requirements may vary depending on the work.

2. Original Art + Handmade Goods

Many SellahStone pieces are handmade, hand-painted, upcycled, repurposed, or otherwise individually created.

Variations in color, texture, placement, shape, finish, materials, markings, or other characteristics are part of the work and should not automatically be considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent pieces as accurately as possible; however, screens, lighting, photography, materials, and the handmade nature of the work may cause differences between what you see online and what you receive.

Some pieces are truly one-of-one.

3. Upcycled + Repurposed Pieces

Upcycled work may incorporate previously manufactured, vintage, found, reclaimed, or repurposed objects.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, SellahStone is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the original manufacturer or brand of an item that has been independently altered or transformed.

Signs of the object’s previous life may remain. That’s part of the story.

4. Custom Art + Commissions

Custom work is collaborative—but commissioning an artist does not mean directing every brushstroke.

Before work begins, we will establish the general concept, scope, size, colors or aesthetic direction, timeline, price, and any major requested elements.

Because artistic interpretation is inherently subjective, the final piece may differ from a client’s exact mental image.

Deposits for custom work may be required and are generally non-refundable once creative work, sourcing, planning, or production has begun.

Any revision limits, approval stages, additional fees, or cancellation terms will be communicated for the individual project when applicable.

5. Creative, Marketing + Business Services

Recommendations provided through consulting, marketing, branding, pricing, strategy, design, or related services are based on professional judgment, creativity, research, experience, and information available at the time.

SellahStone does not guarantee specific business results, revenue, sales, audience growth, publicity, engagement, attendance, or other outcomes.

You remain responsible for your own business decisions and implementation.

6. Design Projects + Client Approval

For design work, clients are responsible for reviewing proofs, drafts, spelling, names, dates, dimensions, contact information, links, and other project details before final approval.

Once a client approves a design for printing, publishing, production, installation, or distribution, SellahStone is not responsible for errors that were present in the approved version.

Changes requested after approval may result in additional fees.

7. Websites + Third-Party Services

Web and digital projects may involve third-party platforms, hosting providers, domains, plugins, applications, payment processors, fonts, stock assets, or other external services.

SellahStone cannot guarantee the continued operation, availability, pricing, security, compatibility, or policies of third-party services.

Clients are responsible for maintaining any accounts, subscriptions, licenses, renewals, or fees identified as their responsibility.

8. Events, Experiences + Workshops

Event, workshop, and experience services may require separate deposits, cancellation policies, minimum attendance, material fees, travel expenses, venue requirements, or other project-specific terms.

Those requirements will be communicated before booking whenever applicable.

9. Pricing + Payment

Prices are subject to change.

Custom projects and services may require a quote or proposal based on scope.

Deposits or retainers may be required before work begins. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, remaining balances must be paid according to the payment schedule provided for the project.

Additional work outside the originally agreed scope may require additional payment.

SellahStone reserves the right to pause work or withhold final deliverables when an account is past due.

10. Cancellations + Refunds

Because SellahStone provides handmade goods, original artwork, customized products, and creative services, refund eligibility varies.

Custom artwork, personalized products, completed services, digital work, and work already in progress may be non-refundable.

For eligible physical-product concerns, please contact SellahStone promptly after receiving your order so the situation can be reviewed.

Shipping charges and other nonrecoverable expenses may not be refundable unless required by law.

Any project-specific cancellation or refund policy provided in a proposal, invoice, agreement, or booking confirmation will also apply.

11. Shipping + Delivery

Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees unless specifically stated otherwise.

SellahStone is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, incorrect addresses supplied by customers, or circumstances outside SellahStone’s reasonable control.

Customers should promptly report orders that arrive damaged so available options can be evaluated.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SellahStone retains ownership of its original concepts, artwork, designs, drafts, photographs, processes, and other creative intellectual property.

Purchasing an original artwork or physical product does not automatically transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

You may enjoy the piece. You may display the piece. You may tell everybody where you got the piece. 💕

You may not reproduce, manufacture, distribute, commercially exploit, or represent SellahStone’s work as your own without permission.

For client design and branding projects, ownership and usage rights may be established separately based on the project and final agreement.

13. Portfolio + Promotional Use

Unless confidentiality has been agreed to in writing, SellahStone may photograph, display, or reference completed creative work for portfolio, website, social media, exhibition, promotional, or educational purposes.

Confidential client information will not intentionally be published as part of that use.

14. Client-Provided Materials

Clients represent that they have permission to provide and authorize the use of any photographs, logos, text, trademarks, artwork, music, files, or other materials supplied to SellahStone for a project.

Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses for materials they provide.

15. Creative Differences

Art, branding, strategy, and design are subjective.

SellahStone will make reasonable efforts to understand each client’s vision while maintaining the creative judgment and integrity of the work.

Disliking a subjective creative choice does not automatically mean that the service or product is defective.

We embrace the nuance around here.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SellahStone will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of this website, products, services, recommendations, or third-party platforms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

17. Website Content

Information on this website may be updated, revised, corrected, expanded, or removed at any time.

SellahStone makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information but does not guarantee that every description, price, image, availability status, or other website detail will always be error-free.

Obvious pricing, typographical, or technical errors may be corrected.

18. Privacy

Information submitted through SellahStone will be handled in accordance with the site’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by SellahStone.

19. Governing Law

These Terms + Conditions are governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

20. Changes to These Terms

SellahStone may update these Terms + Conditions as the business, services, or legal requirements evolve.

The version posted on the website with its stated effective or updated date will apply to future website use, purchases, and engagements as permitted by law.
